Responsibilities

• Monitor all forms of media and report breaking news stories to grow engagement and local traffic.
• Write headlines that grow audience and engagement.
• Package content to grow page views and time on site using headlines and metrics.
• Curate and promote content to generate engagement and repeat visits.
• Tell stories with short videos and strong photos.
• Analyze traffic trends to plan daily content and long-term curation.
• Collaborate with newsroom staff and management on enterprise content.
• Market web content on broadcast and distribute news on social media.
