Job summary

Circle K is seeking a data‑driven professional to support category management activities in the Charlotte area. You will analyze large datasets to inform decisions, manage local vendor communications, and support planograms, promotions, and pricing initiatives. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Category and Merchandise Managers, operational excellence, and maintaining up-to-date professional knowledge through workshops and industry publications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in finance, management, or business economics.
• 1–3 years of work experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyze, and draw conclusions on large data sets to support category management decisions.
• Assist Category and Merchandise Managers with day-to-day vendor contact for item setup, pricing, costs, logistics, and in-stocks.
• Plan, track, and execute vendor/operations sales incentives and contests.
• Provide support and recommendations on local planogram assortment, planning, and processes.
• Collaborate on promotions, pricing management, and execution of local activities.
• Occasional overnight travel to support in-store merchandising opportunities and operational team.
