Job summary

Everforth Apex in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Inventory Analyst focused on data analysis to optimize inventory performance, replenishment strategies, and data-driven decision making. You will analyze inventory levels, forecast demand, and collaborate with Supply Chain teams.

The role requires advanced Excel, Power BI, and ERP experience, with a track record of transforming large datasets into actionable insights. This is a contract position with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, Operations, Logistics, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of Inventory Analysis, Supply Chain Analysis, Data Analysis, Logistics, Planning, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, replenishment strategies, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas, data modeling, VBA.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory levels, usage trends and replenishment data for planning decisions.
  • Review forecasts to develop inventory recommendations and reorder points.
  • Evaluate inventory across locations and suggest transfers or replenishment actions.
  • Support VMI programs by monitoring stock levels.
  • Extract and analyze large datasets from ERP systems to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
