Qualifications

• Master's Degree in education or related field, with 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) is required; English/Language Arts/Mathematics endorsements strongly preferred.
• Experience teaching urban students and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coach a content-area team of 8–12 teachers on lesson planning, delivery, and assessments.
• Use the Danielson Framework to guide teacher growth.
• Lead data cycles to support instructional needs.
• Plan and deliver professional development based on coaching cycles and data.
• Support leadership with preparing for high-stakes assessments (e.g., Illinois Assessment of Readiness).
• Lead and participate in professional development activities.
• Collaborate with administrators, staff, students, parents, and partners.
