Job summary

The role collaborates with academic colleges to support hiring and appointment processes, ensuring compliance with bargaining agreements and university policies.

The position focuses on analyzing program trends, developing reports and dashboards, and providing data-informed recommendations to College of Graduate Studies and campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience with HR data reporting and analytics.
• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and appointment processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support graduate student employment across stateside and SDSU Research Foundation appointments by reviewing classifications, hiring documentation, and appointment requirements.
• Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreement provisions, SDSU appointment processes, and SDSURF hiring practices to promote compliant employment practices.
• Collect, verify, reconcile, and analyze graduate employment and program data (admissions, enrollment, retention, degree progress, demographics).
• Develop reports, dashboards, and summary materials identifying trends for program evaluation and planning.
• Collaborate with colleges and campus partners to establish consistent data and reporting practices.
