Job summary

Intrepid College Prep in Nashville seeks a School Counselor to provide comprehensive, data-driven counseling services to Opportunity Academy students, collaborating with teachers and families across the network.

You will deliver individual and group sessions, implement prevention and intervention strategies, and participate in a campus culture focused on equity and student success. Evening recruitment events may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years counseling in urban public or charter schools.
• MS in School Counseling or MSW, min 3.0 GPA.
• Excellent communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Spanish language experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive counseling services and interventions to students.
• Provide individual and group counseling using data-informed practices.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and external professionals to support students.
• Develop an annual, data-driven counseling plan with measurable goals.
• Utilize Early Warning Indicators to target interventions for at-risk students.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to laws and school policies.
