Job summary

Florida Department of Education is seeking an Educational Policy Analyst (CS) in Tallahassee to conduct advanced data analysis and provide consultative services for career technical education and adult general education programs across the state. The role focuses on AEFLA and Perkins-aligned data reporting, evaluation, and improvement initiatives.

The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making, statewide collaboration with providers, and leadership in accountability and workforce

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of relevant work experience.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel 3-4 times per year.
• Experience with public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced data analysis and reporting to support AEFLA and Perkins-related programs.
• Develop and share data-driven program improvement recommendations for statewide CTE and AGE programs.
• Produce research and evaluation reports and participate in design, data collection, analysis, and reporting phases.
• Evaluate program performance to identify deficiencies, strengths, and gaps among sub-populations.
• Coordinate data tool design and training to support program evaluation and improvement.
