Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in category management is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Marketing or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience leading and managing a small team.
• Strong MS Office and Excel proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities.
• Ability to set and manage priorities for the team.
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• As Category Manager, Adult Beverage & Tobacco you will define private label strategy and own results.
• Own sourcing and assortment decisions to drive category sales and profit.
• Develop plans with measurable objectives including advertising, in-store promotions, and special buys.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and quality.
• Develop market data and consumer insights to drive category performance.
• Set sales, gross profit, and inventory forecasts for budgets.
• Collaborate with Merchandising Services on pricing and stock levels.
• Provide leadership to the Category Assistant and other team members.
