Job summary

TerrAscend Corp. is a leading cannabis company with operations across multiple states and Canadian markets. We are hiring an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate stock records, analyze inventory data, and ensure compliance with state regulations and internal policies.

The role involves auditing, reporting, and coordinating with other departments to optimize material handling. Ability to lift 50 lbs and proficiency in MS Office are required; cannabis experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Cannabis Experience a plus.
• Operational knowledge of the MS Suite including Excel, Sharepoint and Teams.
• Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences, strong reasoning, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, operational research, root cause, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
• Maintain and track inventory data through testing process
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
• Assessing inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
• Coordinating with other department leaders to ensure proper material handling and inventory management through all processes
• Maintaining inventory accuracy as products move through their respective processes in the company monitoring systems (mainly Metrc and Wherefour)
• Physically auditing product inventory weekly or as deemed necessary
• Preparing reports on inventory operations and perform analysis to predict inventory challenges or systematic issues
• Ensuring compliance with state mandated inventory controls, reconciliations, and audits.
• Reporting all data to Inventory and Testing Lead
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the state director
