Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to conduct business process analysis and align IT solutions with business initiatives. The role functions as a liaison between business lines and IT, with responsibilities spanning requirements, design, testing, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical, communication, and BI skills, with experience in dashboards and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Ten years of related experience with a high school diploma or six years with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates specifications for moderately complex software applications or maintains complex existing applications.
• Analyzes and evaluates systems and proposes data processing solutions.
• Prepares diagrams and flowcharts to assist problem analysis and recommendations.
• Develops coding logic flowcharts and program specifications.
• Tests, debugs, and coordinates operating programs with IT and user departments.
• Reviews progress, evaluates results, and suggests improvements.
• May require on-call support rotation after hours or weekends.
