Job summary

Oorwin AI is seeking a data and operations analyst to lead end-to-end data mapping, define transformation rules, and maintain data lineage across sources. You will work with data owners to resolve conflicts and implement quality rules, ensuring accurate financial data and supporting governance scorecards.

The role requires 3–5+ years in operations or analytics, strong communication, and a solid grasp of budgets and cost drivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or management or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in business operations or data analytics.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong financial literacy including budgets, cost drivers, and basic financial reports.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience using data visualization tools to create visuals.
• Broad knowledge of business operations best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data mapping across assigned data sources and reporting layers.
• Document business definitions, transformation logic, and data lineage, coordinating with data owners and stewards to resolve conflicts.
• Identify workflow issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Implement data quality rules, track exceptions, and monitor remediation activities.
• Maintain metadata and glossary entries in the data catalog.
• Develop SOPs for change control and the data-mapping lifecycle and produce status reports and governance scorecards.
• Assist with training materials and provide training on those materials.
• Track and audit purchase order expenditures to identify variances and support planning.
• Review and audit financial data to ensure accuracy and budget alignment.
• Track and audit financial information as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
