Monticello Asset Management, LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with teams across the business, turning questions into data-driven solutions. Youll develop reports, collaborate with offshore developers, and own projects end to end in a finance/data environment.

This fully in-person role in New York City focuses on Python, SQL, and data platform skills (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Git) to deliver dashboards, data quality, and automation across real estate finance operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Experience generating ad hoc reports and analyses for business stakeholders.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and data modeling.
• Familiar with Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
• Generate ad hoc reports and analyses that answer time-sensitive business questions.
• Write Python and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data across the business.
• Take projects end to end – from business problem through delivered solution.
• Project management support – coordinate offshore development teams to keep delivery on track.
• Automate data quality and QC processes that keep reporting accurate and trusted.
• Create dashboards and reporting to drive portfolio decisions.
• Contribute to AI initiatives across the business – workflow automation, data ingestion, and insights.
