Job summary

Motion Recruitment in Georgia is seeking a Business/Data Analyst who blends strong data skills with problem-solving abilities, working closely with business and technical teams to turn data into actionable insights.

You will build Power BI dashboards with Power Query, write SQL queries, and analyze data to support decisions while ensuring data quality and thoroughly documenting work for training and knowledge-sharing. This role emphasizes collaboration with GIS staff and product owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in data analysis, BI, or application support.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and relational databases.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years in data analysis, systems analysis, BI, or application support
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, SQL, and relational databases
• Strong communication skills — able to work with both technical and non‑technical people

Nice to Have

• Accela Civic Platform experience
• Background with local government planning/permitting/licensing systems
