Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians seeks a Manager, Administration & Operations to lead a team through data-driven decisions, budgeting, reporting, and shared services. You will oversee student data handling and collaborate with HR on staff training and credentialing, while applying tribal law and policy in daily operations.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and supervisory skills, with experience in education administration and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience providing administrative, operational and financial support to management.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience managing multiple staff.
• Administrative experience in a school environment preferred.
• Experience with Live-Scan/background checks and TB testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and operations, applying tribal policies and budget responsibilities.
• Coordinate reports for Education Board and oversee department documents and records.
• Manage shared services and organize communications for Education Department programs.
• Collaborate with HR to supervise staff training, credentialing, and onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with tribal law, accreditation processes, and safety plans.
