Monzo is expanding its EU data presence and seeks a Data Director for EU expansion to lead the Data team, shape product strategy, and oversee the learning loop across new markets. The role collaborates with EU leadership and Monzo's global data leadership, using analytics to drive commercial outcomes.

You’ll own the data strategy for EU expansion, set metrics, and build foundational data capabilities across markets, influencing decisions at the ExCo level and guiding cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Senior data leader at director level or above.
• Experience building or scaling a data function in a new market.
• Ability to connect metrics and data architecture to product-market fit.
• Experience leading company-wide goal setting and clear metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EU Data team and shape data strategy for expansion.
• Co-own product development loops with EU Leadership, Product and Engineering.
• Represent Data at ExCo and drive cross-collective collaboration across the business.
• Build and grow a high-performing full-stack Data team accountable for product and business outcomes.
