Data Conversion Specialist - NetSuite Analytics Warehouse

We are seeking an experienced Data Conversion Specialist to join our in-house team. This role involves integrating historical data into NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) from Great Plains, assisting in data understanding and report building that align with current Oracle NetSuite reports. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the data infrastructure of a growing company, offering hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud ERP technology.

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the data migration from Great Plains to NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW).
• Work closely with the data team to define, cleanse, and map data fields appropriately.
• Develop a comprehensive data dictionary to assist users in understanding data fields within NSAW.
• Design and execute data testing procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
• Reformat and convert data within Great Plains as needed to meet system compatibility requirements.
• Create detailed documentation and reports that align with legacy systems for reliable comparison and reference.
• Engage with users to gather requirements and deliver solutions that improve their interaction with the data system.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data conversion and migration projects involving Great Plains and SQL databases.
• Strong background in working with ERP systems, specifically Oracle NetSuite and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse.
• Ability to create and manage comprehensive data dictionaries and mapping.
• Demonstrated expertise in data cleansing and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite implementation or migration projects.
• Experience in short-term, high-impact deployment projects within data-heavy environments.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Background in financial data migration projects and understanding of financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to work onsite in Greenwich, CT.
