Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Data Conversion Specialist to support data migration for HR technology implementations. You will lead data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading to ensure successful HR data migrations across systems, with Hands-on Data 360 and Workday/SAP experience.

You will design ETL/ELT processes, create Source-to-Target mappings, and prepare Workday load files. Collaboration with HR and tech teams will ensure data readiness and governance throughout

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data conversion activities for HR technology implementations and upgrades.
• Develop data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation processes.
• Perform data reconciliation and resolve data quality issues; support testing cycles.
• Collaborate with HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to ensure data readiness.
• Document conversion requirements, mapping rules, and validation results.
• Design and develop ETL/ELT processes for SAP-to-Workday migration.
• Prepare Workday-compatible load files using EIBs and Workday templates.
• Validate migrated data through reconciliation and sign-off processes.

• This role will be responsible for data extraction| transformation| cleansing| validation| and loading| ensuring the successful migration of HR data across systems.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Data 360 and HR technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data conversion activities for HR technology implementations and upgrades.
• Develop data mapping| transformation| cleansing| and validation processes.
• Perform data reconciliation and resolve data quality issues.Support testing cycles| including mock conversions and production cutovers.
• Partner with HR| Technology| and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and readiness.
• Document conversion requirements| mapping rules| and validation results.Ensure compliance with data governance| privacy| and security standards.
• Perform data profiling| cleansing| transformation| enrichment| and reconciliation activities.
• Design and develop ETL/ELT processes for SAP-to-Workday migration.
• Create Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents and transformation rules.
• Prepare Workday-compatible load files using EIBs and Workday data templates.
• Validate migrated data through reconciliation reports and business sign-off processes.
• Collaborate with Workday Functional Consultants to support tenant loads and testing cycles.
• Troubleshoot migration and conversion issues during SIT| UAT| and Go-Live phases.
• Implement data quality controls and ensure compliance with governance| privacy| and security policies.
• Support cutover planning| mock conversions| deployment activities| and post-production stabilization.
