Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Conversion Data Analyst for a fully remote role. You will join the Data Conversions team focused on migrating data from acquired firms into standard systems, supporting M&A data moves across multiple time zones.

The role requires 5 years of data conversion experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work remotely with the team. Advanced SQL and data tools are considered nice-to-have as part of a broader skill set.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in data conversion projects.
• Hands-on experience with mappings, source validations, destination validations, and import templates.
• Microsoft Excel with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

• Support Implementation Leads in migrating data from legacy systems to target platform.
• Analyze, map, clean, and transform source data into standardized formats.
• Use Excel and SQL Server to review and manipulate data sets.
• Apply ETL best practices to support accurate data transfer.
• Work with templates to ensure consistent, repeatable workflows.
• Collaborate remotely with a team of Data Analysts on project-specific assignments.
• Adapt to shifting project needs and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Conversion Data Analyst

Location: Remote (EST/CST preferred, but open to all U.S. time zones)

Travel: 10%, occasional project-based travel may be required

Overview:

Seeking a Conversion Data Analyst to join their Data Conversions team. This team plays a critical role in the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) space, responsible for migrating data from acquired firms into standard systems.

Must Have

• 5 years experience
• Hands-on experience with data conversion projects--looking for experience with things like mappings / source validations / destination validations / import templates.
• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).

Nice to Haves

• Ability to write and execute read-only SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft Fabric
• Applied Epic
• Alteryx (used for creating repeatable data workflows)
