Job summary

Solidus Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support NC3 modernization efforts. The role focuses on preserving baselines, managing change control, and auditing configuration status for DoD programs in support of Albuquerque deliverables.

Responsibilities include coordinating CCBs, maintaining contract data submissions, and ensuring only approved changes are captured across requirements, design, and software artifacts.

Qualifications

• Experience with EIA-649C, MIL-HDBK-61B baselines or equivalents.
• Active DoD Secret clearance minimum required.
• Familiar with configuration management in defense programs.

Job description

This description represents a prospective position. Applications will populate our active talent pipeline for ongoing and upcoming delivery order requests supporting the NC3 modernization enterprise in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Overview

Support configuration management planning, describing provisions for configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits. Identify and maintain the original configuration baseline of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. Govern change control pipelines so only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software while tracking all status metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Baseline Preservation: Document and lock down the original configuration of architecture requirements, hardware/software specifications, and technical manuals.
• Change Control Administration: Manage change routing workflows to ensure only authorized changes enter the active software/hardware product lines.
• Status Accounting & Auditing: Track open baseline anomalies, log bugs, and execute regular physical/functional audits against contract deliverables.
• Level 2 Specifics: Coordinate formal Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and manage CDRL/SDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) submissions.

Specific Technical & NC3 Qualifications

• CM Methodologies: Working knowledge of EIA-649C, MIL-HDBK-61B, or similar defense configuration baselines.
• Tool Tracking: Experience managing data configuration pipelines using Jira, Teamcenter, Windchill, or Git.
• Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance minimum.
