Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant – Data & Compliance to support the organization’s growth by managing financial contracts and data across programs, fundraising, and operations.

The role reports to the Director of Finance and offers a hybrid work arrangement with 2–3 days in the Lynn office. The ideal candidate has an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least two years of nonprofit finance experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong organizational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of two years in finance or general accounting, preferably in nonprofit.
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices.
• Strong mathematical and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly contract billings for various programs.
• Manage financial data across contracts, program and fundraising.
• Postings for bank accounts, fees, invoices, deposits, and cash sweeps.
• Maintain contracts in Sage and ensure compliance documentation.
• Support audits and coordinate with Finance Director.
• Collaborate with program staff on data management and reporting.
