Job summary

Creighton University is seeking a Data Manager & Communications Specialist for the REACH program. The role oversees program data, supports evaluation, and manages technology and communications across partner sites.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) with 2+ years of data management, analysis, and reporting experience, and proficiency with Excel, SPSS, and web-based survey tools. Occasional travel and strong writing skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with database management, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with web-based surveys.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, manage, and maintain program data from community partners and program activities.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy through data verification and reporting.
• Develop and maintain databases, longitudinal datasets, and documentation.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using statistical software (e.g., SPSS) to support program evaluation and decision-making.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for program leadership, the CDC, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Evaluation Specialist on data collection tools, evaluation instruments, and grant reporting.
• Design and develop standardized and ad hoc reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
• Serve as a data management resource for program staff and partners.
• Manage REACH technology and communications, including website maintenance, web-based surveys, newsletters, brochures, presentations, signage, and other communication materials.
• Travel to partner communities for data collection and program support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
