The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a College Intern to support the Data, Analytics, & Research team in the Director's Office. The role involves data cleaning, report creation, and training guide development to assist staff and stakeholders.

You'll use tools like Tableau and contribute to data briefs, presentations, and web content while collaborating with other divisions and attending meetings.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes epidemiology, data science & program evaluation training to assist & support the Data, Analytics, & Research (DAR) section in the Director's Office
  • Creates &/or edits reports using tools (e.g., Tableau) for DODD staff, legislators, & other stakeholder groups
  • Creates assorted training guides
  • Supports the county boards' efforts to clean up incorrect & missing data
  • Conducts statistical analyses & writes up results using DODD & Medicaid data
  • Creates content for the DAR team (i.e., PowerPoint slides, web content, data briefs, videos, & fact sheets)
  • Participates in meetings & projects
  • Represents DAR at meetings
  • Acts as a key contact with other divisions
  • Collaborates on ongoing projects
  • Presents findings to a variety of stakeholders
  • Performs other duties as assigned within scope of internship
