Job summary

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is offering a part-time internship in the DAR section, located in Columbus, OH. The role uses data analytics, epidemiology, and program evaluation training to support staff, legislators, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include creating/editing Tableau reports, developing training guides, cleaning data for county boards, performing statistical analyses, and producing data briefs and slides. Enrollment in an accredited college is required.

  • Creates & edits reports using tools (e.g., Tableau) for DODD staff, legislators, & other stakeholder groups.
  • Creates assorted training guides.
  • Supports the county boards' efforts to clean up incorrect & missing data.
  • Conducts statistical analyses & writes up results using DODD & Medicaid data.
  • Creates content for the DAR team (i.e., PowerPoint slides, web content, data briefs, videos, & fact sheets).
  • Participates in meetings & projects.
  • Represents DAR at meetings.
  • Acts as a key contact with other divisions.
  • Collaborates on ongoing projects.
  • Presents findings to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned within scope of internship.
