Data Collection Specialist – Level II
  • Performs information gathering for data analytics, including asset tagging and data collection.
  • Experience with performing data collection on building systems (HVAC, refrigeration, point of sale).
  • Preferable but not essential to have additional experience with IoT devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducts walk-through surveys to assess the condition of property development.
  • Safely access roofs when part of work scope.
  • Take photographs of representative systems and conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Log information into a client database.
  • Adhere to client site visit protocols.
  • Travel may be required up to 100% of the time for periods.
  • Use problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address projects of basic to moderate complexity.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in engineering, construction management, sciences, IT, or related field is a plus.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with iPad/iPhone and iOS systems.
Certificates and/or Licenses
  • Driver’s License
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety Course
Communication Skills
  • Ability to analyze property conditions and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues appropriately.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to solve problems and develop strategic solutions in complex situations.
Other Skills and Abilities
  • Adaptability to various programs, apps, and web platforms for data gathering and communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Manage multiple ongoing assignments simultaneously.

Estimated Total Compensation: $45,000 – $75,000 USD per year

This range is an estimate and not guaranteed. Employment offers depend on education, experience, skills, location, and market data.
