Job summary

TaskUs is hiring Drivers - Data Collection to operate fleet vehicles and collect real-world mapping data for autonomous vehicle and spatial mapping projects. You will accept passenger trips via a rideshare app and ensure constant data collection from LiDAR and cameras along your routes.

Responsibilities include verifying data systems are active, performing checks on hardware, and reporting any sensor or software issues.

Qualifications

Active US driver's license with a clean record.
Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience (rideshare, taxi, or delivery a plus).
Comfortable operating touchscreen interfaces and onboard hardware/sensors.
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with passengers.

Responsibilities

Accept, navigate, and complete real-world passenger rides via a designated rideshare app.
Ensure vehicle data collection tech (LiDAR, cameras, data loggers) is powered on and capturing data.
Perform pre/post-trip checks on sensor mounts, lenses, and recording hardware.
Monitor hardware/software status displays and report errors to the operations team.
Adhere to local traffic laws, TaskUs safety protocols, and rideshare platform guidelines.
