Job summary

Kenway Consulting, LLC. is seeking a Data, Analytics & Cloud Engineering Consultant in Chicago to help clients turn data into strategic insights.

You will build scalable data pipelines on modern cloud platforms, analyze data to explain business trends, and deliver actionable dashboards using Power BI under senior mentorship. The role is early-career, emphasizing growth with a collaborative team of engineers and architects.

Qualifications

1–3 years building data solutions on Modern Data Platforms.
Hands-on exposure to Azure data services and cloud engineering practices.
Proficiency in Python and SQL with real data analysis.
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps in data space.
Exposure to AI in the modern data and analytics stack.
Knowledge of ELT/ETL, Data Lake/Lakehouse/Warehouse concepts.
Experience with agile delivery tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps Boards.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products (including Power BI reports).
Analyze data to identify root causes and communicate findings clearly.
Write Python and SQL to move, model, and transform data.
Apply software-delivery discipline to data assets and deployments.
Take ownership of defined technical tasks and deliver with increasing independence.
Support proposals, demos, and collateral in business development.
