Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Integration Manager/Telecommunications QA/QC Manager to lead integration and fit-out for data centre projects in Abilene, TX. The role focuses on delivering timely technical infrastructure to support cloud capacity, with a global team ensuring world-class service.

You will coordinate with Operations, Security, IT, Networking and external partners, drive risk mitigation, and uphold safety, quality, and lean delivery across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management or related field.
• Experience on data centre projects.
• Proven data centre construction, telecom infrastructure, and fit-out experience.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication and cross-group collaboration skills.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities and vendor management.
• Knowledge of ISO-accredited safety and quality management systems.
• Professional accreditation in Engineering (IMechE & IEL).
• Construction Contracts Management accreditation.
• PMI PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee integration and technical infrastructure fit-out activities for lease projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, track major milestones such as Early Access and Ready Network Install.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Security, IT, Networking) and external stakeholders (Lease Providers, General Contractors, landlords, vendors, suppliers).
• Assist in developing risk mitigation activities and communicate metrics, dashboards, and scorecards to track and drive progress.
• Advocate for safe worksites and implement High‑Risk Activity programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and risk management processes.
• Coordinate procurement and installation of telecom systems, security systems, furniture/fixtures/equipment, and corporate network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Data Centre Engineering and specialty consultants to review and execute design improvements.
• Drive lean delivery strategies and process improvements across multiple sites.
