Daksta is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its Data Centre and Commercial Construction team in the Arlington Heights area of Illinois. The role focuses on supporting project planning, budgeting, procurement, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-profile projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction Management or Engineering, hands-on PM experience in data centre or commercial settings, and strong organizational and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, preferably within data centre or commercial construction.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Monitor progress and prepare status reports for senior management.
• Identify and mitigate risks to deliver on time and within budget.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor selection and contract management.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
