Job summary

Datacenter People is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commissioning-enabled data centre projects across the US, taking ownership from planning through completion. You will manage client relationships, project teams, schedules and budgets while coordinating vendors and contractors.

The role demands strong leadership, outstanding communication, and proven ability to deliver on time and within budget, with travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, organization and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and on-site project locations.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing projects from initiation through final close-out.
• Developing and managing milestone schedules.
• Managing budgets, forecasting, billing, and financial performance.
• Reviewing scope of work and potential change orders.
• Coordinating commissioning teams, clients, vendors and contractors.
• Maintaining communication with clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Managing document control and project documentation.
• Overseeing project close-out, commissioning reports, and as-built documentation.
• Contributing to proposals and client presentations.
• Leading and supervising project resources, including technical field staff.
