Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Data Center Associate in Michigan City, Indiana. The role focuses on material handling, server assembly, cabling, and inventory management within the datacenter environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, quality checks, cycle counts, and operating warehouse equipment, with emphasis on safety and 5S standards. 1–3 years of related experience preferred, background checks required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience in warehousing or data-center environments.
• Ability to pass federal/state/local background checks and drug tests.
• Capable of lifting and carrying loads and operating manual handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for spare parts.
• Process return shipments of electronic components.
• Install server racks and cabling per diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate pallet jacks, straddle stackers, and rack movers.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards.
