Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Michigan City, USA, is seeking a Data Center Associate to support material orders, customer service, and inventory management while assembling and installing servers and electronic components using hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.

You will load/unload freight, perform quality checks, conduct daily cycle counts, process returns, and install rack hardware and cabling in the datacenter.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols are required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders.
• Process return shipments using warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor and install cabling.
• Operate various material handling equipment (straddle stackers, pallet jacks).
• Adhere to safety procedures and 5S standards.
