Job summary

Service Robot Co. is seeking an on-site hardware installer in Rocklin, CA to support data-center deployments. You will install, cabling, label servers, switches and storage equipment, and replace failed components under remote engineer guidance.

You will follow established maintenance schedules, test repairs, and document serials and locations while adhering to security procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, cabling, AV, electronics repair, or building computers.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and keep accurate records.
• Comfort working independently and communicating with remote engineers.
• Availability for overnight maintenance work.
• Comfort working on your feet in cold, noisy rooms with hearing protection.
• Ability to pass a background check and site security screening.

The role

Install and maintain hardware inside data centers. You will work with remote engineers to complete physical tasks such as installing servers, running cables, and replacing failed parts.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in‑person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. Training and certifications are free for selected candidates. Your first assignment is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
