Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, USA, seeks a Data Center Associate - Pharmacy - A-Shift (Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm) to support material orders, customer service and inventory management while assembling and installing servers and electronics using hand and power tools.

You will load/unload freight, perform quality checks, run daily cycle counts, install cabling and rack components, operate equipment and uphold safety and 5S standards; 1-3 years of related experience required, with

Qualifications

1–3 years of related experience is required.
Experience with servers and datacenter equipment is preferred.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug tests.

Responsibilities

Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking for accurate part numbers and quantities.
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
