Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Santa Clara, CA for a full-time, on-site role supporting critical infrastructure at world-class facilities. The compensation ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.
The position requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2), and proven troubleshooting abilities. Candidates should be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of data center operations experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
- Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
- Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
- Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
- Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
- Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
- Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
