Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Tampa, FL to join our on-site team supporting world-class data center facilities. This full-time role involves installing and maintaining server and network equipment, cabling, deployments, and 24/7 on-call readiness.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and on-site work with standard business hours, plus night/weekend on-call rotation as needed. Proximity to local data center facilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Server hardware and networking knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
