Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team in Itasca, TX. This full-time role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining server and network equipment within our world-class data center facilities.

Responsibilities include cabling, hardware deployments, and monitoring power, cooling, and security systems. 3+ years in data center operations and strong documentation skills are essential; experience with DCIM and ITIL is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
