Reboot Monkey seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for full-time, on-site work in Urbandale, IA. You will support mission-critical infrastructure, handle hardware installations, cabling, server racking, and coordination with NOC teams.

The role requires 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, and fluency in English. Certifications like CDCP/CDCS are preferred, with solid on-call rotation and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
