Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure at our world-class facilities. This full-time, on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive USD salary.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining server hardware, performing structured cabling, and monitoring power and cooling systems. Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting, documentation, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with cable plant (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
