The role requires strong communication, on-call responsiveness within an hour, and background with CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber. On-site positions demand precise cable management and collaboration with the Operations team.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required; no dual citizenship.
• Must have US Passport and Real ID.
• High school diploma or GED with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Ability to respond to On-Call within 1 hour.
• Experience cabling systems per SOP and ticket requirements.
• Experience with CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and decommission hardware including cabinets, shelves, cables, servers, and storage in the data center.
• Label devices, racks, and cables; verify accurate tagging.
• Maintain documentation and follow SOPs, policies, and security guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with customers; work within ticketing system and under supervision.
• Support data center operations and mentor junior colleagues as needed.

Makes recommendations for solutions* Works within guidelines and takes ownership of results. May act as a mentor to less experienced team members. **Your Roles and Responsibilities:*** Responsible for installing, moving, and decommissioning hardware including cabinets, shelves, power strips, rails, fiber/copper/other cables and cable management, servers, storage, and other devices in the Data Center.* Confirm and label devices, rack and cables.* Work in a standard ticketing system, providing clear, timely, and appropriate customer communications.* Work under the direction of Site Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager) and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Program Policies, Safety Policies, and Security Policies, while meeting requirements for quality and quantity of work.* Other duties as required.
