Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in Chicago. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, and validation work following engineering designs and procedures.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, field services, or IT infrastructure support.
Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation with minimal supervision.
Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices and installation standards.

Responsibilities

Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment, and related infrastructure according to designs and docs.
Install, route, terminate, and dress copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
Install racks, PDUs, power connections, and confirm proper power connectivity.
Provision equipment and configure OOB management connections; perform basic validation and testing.
Perform MACD activities and FRU replacements per procedures; maintain records and as-built docs.
