Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions seeks Lead Technicians to direct field crews and support deployments across the United States. The role combines fiber and structured cabling skills with hands-on leadership, requiring extensive travel and on-site execution.

You will translate drawings and BOMs into daily tasks, lead safety briefings, coach technicians, coordinate materials, and verify test results. Credentials such as Network+ or FOA are valued. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Fiber, low-voltage, or structured cabling experience required.
• Level 1 and Level 2 technical competence, incl. termination, splicing, testing.
• Ability to direct and coach a crew through field work and training.
• Ability to read drawings and cable schedules, coordinate daily work.
• CPR/First Aid and electrical safety, LOTO awareness prior to lead assignment.
• Complete TWS training, credentials (FOA/Network+), and approvals; travel-ready.

Responsibilities

• Translate drawings, cable schedules, BOMs into daily crew tasks.
• Lead hazard reviews and briefings; verify qualifications, PPE, readiness.
• Coach technicians and assign work per qualifications.
• Coordinate materials and test equipment; verify parts and calibration records.
• Inspect first articles; verify labeling and routing; obtain quality releases.
• Record labor and materials; report constraints to PM; support turnover.
• Escalate scope changes; observe hold points and complete handovers.
