Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a Lead Technician to support data center construction and infrastructure deployments across the United States. The role directs field crews, coordinates daily work, verifies installation quality, and reports progress to the Project Manager.

This hands-on position blends fiber and structured cabling skills with crew leadership, requires extensive travel, and may involve long multi-state deployments. Veterans and veterans spouses are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Fiber, low-voltage, or structured cabling skills demonstrated through work or training.
• Lead with verified Level 1 and Level 2 technical competence in termination, splicing, testing.
• Ability to read drawings, schedules, and coordinate daily field work.
• CPR/First Aid, electrical safety and LOTO awareness before field lead assignment.
• Willingness to travel extensively and complete background screening.

Responsibilities

• Translate drawings, cable schedules, BOMs into daily crew assignments.
• Lead hazard reviews and briefings; verify PPE and area readiness.
• Coach technicians and assign work per qualifications.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and test equipment; verify parts and calibration.
• Inspect installations, ensure labeling and routing meet plans; obtain approvals.
• Review test readiness and results; escalate defects as needed.
• Record labor and materials; report constraints to Project Manager.
• Manage scope changes, field questions, and turnover processes.
