Job summary

NuAxis LLC in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Data Center Technician II for a full-time on-site role. Provides hands-on support for day-to-day data center operations, assists with infrastructure reliability, hardware installations, and asset tracking.

You will work with a collaborative team, rack/stack servers, manage cables, maintain documentation, and learn with senior staff. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent experience and at least 1 year in data center support.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year IT or data center support experience.
• Experience supporting computer room or data center environments.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure and support systems.
• Ability to contribute to documentation and process development.
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge (phishing, smishing, vishing).
• Strong customer service skills.

Job Summary:

Provides hands-on support for day-to-day data center operations. This role assists with maintaining infrastructure reliability, supporting hardware installations, and ensuring accurate asset tracking. The technician works closely with senior team members while developing technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist with hardware installs and removals

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ year IT or data center support experience
• Experience supporting computer room or data center environments
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure and support systems
• Ability to contribute to documentation and process development
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge (phishing, smishing, vishing)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• 2+ years data center or infrastructure support preferred
