Job summary

Hut 8 Corp. in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a Data Center Technician to operate state-of-the-art computing and networking equipment, ensure uptime, and perform basic repairs on mining gear.

The role emphasizes learning network technologies and adapting to evolving systems in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions, carry out routine maintenance, flash miner firmware, and work with the Associate/Manager of Data Center Operations to keep mining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of IT/hardware experience.
• Bitcoin mining experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain data center systems to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Carry out basic miner repairs and flash firmware on miners.
• Support preventative maintenance and schedule inspections.
• Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure and miner issues across teams.
• Maintain a safe and clean facility and perform general duties as assigned.
