Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our data center operations team near Pecos/Orla, TX. You will help ensure reliability and optimal performance of facility infrastructure, applying technical expertise, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will perform preventative maintenance on equipment, operate maintenance tools (forklift, scissor lift, telehandler), handle inspections and paperwork, and assist with deliveries, cleaning, and HVAC tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related field experience.
• Must pass motor vehicle check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely (Forklift, Scissor lift, Telehandler, Genie).
• Intake deliveries and prepare shipments.
• Facility cleaning and maintenance.
• Basic HVAC preventative maintenance.
• General electrical safety.
