You will support logistics, inventory management, and data processing within a data center environment, performing physical inventory, deliveries, cycle audits, and material handling.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, 2+ years in warehouse or IT-related roles, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory tracking and staging for accurate data management.
• Coordinate deliveries and rack movements; handle PO receiving.
• Conduct inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance tasks.
• Manage material movement, shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
• Assist in destruction of data-bearing devices per procedures.

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1, you will be part of the Data Center Operations supporting logistics, inventory management, and data processing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1

Location: Manassas, VA

Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour with Benefits & PTO

Shifts : Monday through Friday, Core Business Hours

What's the Job?

• Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accurate data management

• Coordinate and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities

• Conduct inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance activities within the data center environment

• Handle material movement, shipping, receiving, and inventory management following standard procedures

• Assist in the destruction of data-bearing devices in accordance with documented procedures and runbooks

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Previous experience working in a data center environment preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
