Controlled Contamination Services seeks a Data Center Technician I to uphold cleanliness in our controlled environments. You will clean all surfaces, follow SOPs, and participate in ongoing training to ensure safety and quality in data centers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic arithmetic, and the ability to learn Scope of Work procedures. A background check and I-9 may be required, with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s.
• Willingness to pass a background check and I-9 verification.
• Ability to read and follow SOP/SOW documentation precisely.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines.
• Monitor cleaning procedures to ensure prompt, correct work.
• Participate in ongoing training: Data Center, technical skills, safety.
• Micro-clean all surfaces including ceilings, walls, equipment, floors.
• Follow customer SOPs with accurate documentation.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective/preventative actions.
• Review SOP/SOW changes and retrain personnel as needed.
• Cross-train other Controlled Contamination Services staff.
• Learn cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and pass required checks.

This position is not only about keeping areas visually clean but ensuring that all surfaces, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors, are meticulously maintained to meet the strict guidelines of cleanliness required in a data center setting.Shift DetailsMonday-Friday 10:30am-2:30pmESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleaning is completed promptly and correctly.Responsible for participating in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.Normal duties include but are not limited to micro-cleaning all surfaces within the general & critical environment including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.The ability to follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).Review change to SOP/SOW documentation and re-train.Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.All other duties as defined by supervisor.Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating ProceduresAbility to maintain confidentiality.Pass a background check and I-9EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities:StandWalkLift/ClimbTalk/HearUse hands to finger, handle or feel.Reach with hands or arms.The Weight or Force requirement in this position is: Up to 40 pounds.Loud environments (examples: metal manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment)Controlled Contamination Services is an equal opportunity employer – vets/disability.
