Job summary

Adapture is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to support installation, maintenance, and operation of critical server and network infrastructure. You will work on-site in Dallas, Columbus, or Ashburn, handling hardware, cabling, and troubleshooting in a fast-moving production environment.

The role requires 1–3+ years of data center experience, comfort with rack-mounted equipment, and basic Linux skills. Opportunities include after-hours maintenance and collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

1-3+ years of hands-on data center, infrastructure, or hardware support experience.
Experience installing and troubleshooting rack-mounted servers and network equipment.
Comfortable racking, stacking, cabling, labeling, and replacing hardware components.
Basic Linux experience, including the ability to navigate a command line and perform basic troubleshooting.
Experience with copper and fiber cabling, optics, and transceivers.

Responsibilities

Install, rack, stack, cable, and decommission servers and network equipment.
Perform hardware break/fix, component swaps, and basic troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot physical connectivity, cabling, power, and hardware issues.
Install and replace components including servers, switches, optics, drives, memory, power supplies, and related hardware.
Run, terminate, label, and maintain copper and fiber cabling.
Coordinate with internal infrastructure and network teams and data center vendors.
Assist with inventory, shipping, receiving, and asset management.
