Job summary

Partner One is seeking a Junior Support Engineer for our Riverside Data Centre in California. This hands-on role supports IT hardware, networking, and data centre operations, collaborating with the Data Centre Engineer and IT teams.

The ideal candidate is practical, eager to learn, comfortable with troubleshooting, following documented processes, and able to assist with asset management, laptop configuration, and on-site support across our portfolio of companies.

Qualifications

• Entry-level IT experience in help desk or desktop support is useful.
• Familiarity with server hardware or rack installation is a plus.
• Basic network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to follow documented processes and keep records.
• Willingness to learn and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack and cable servers, switches and other network equipment.
• Provide on-site Smart Hands support.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
• Assist with IT asset and inventory management.
• Follow documented processes and maintain records.
• Assist with end-user device management.
• Receive and wipe returned equipment for reuse or disposal.
