Job summary

Ericsson seeks a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure. You will perform rack-and-stack, structured cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and operational support, following safety and customer standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in data center ops or IT infra, know copper/fiber cabling, and can read drawings and MOPs. Travel up to 100% may be required depending on site needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification required.
• 1+ years in data center operations, structured cabling, field services, or IT infrastructure support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, and power distribution.
• Understanding copper and fiber cabling, basic optical networking concepts, and installation standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation documentation, and MOPs.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers.

• Execute rack-and-stack activities and structured cabling installations.
• Provision equipment, perform testing, and provide operational support.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with Ericsson and customer standards.
